Before:

• Using pain relief medicines (NSAIDS) such as Ibruprofen, Naproxen, Vitamin E, Fish Oil, Ginko is prohibited for one week before getting injection in order to reduce bruising.
• Alcohol is prohibited 24 hours before getting injection.
• If the patient had Herpes around lips in medical record before, please inform the doctor before getting injection.

After:

• Do not massage, press or whatsoever which will affect to the treatment area within 6-8 hours after the injection such as wearing cap, helmet or facial massage.
• Wearing make-up after the injection is allowed but with gentle and avoid pressing or scrubbing.
• Applying ice on swollen or bruised area is applicable.
• Moving injected muscle for 1-2 hours after for Botox to diffuse into muscles better is strongly recommended.
• Any bulges may occur after the injection but will be gone within 2-3 hours.
• Return to doctor if the patient has any inquiries or unusual result.
